![]() ![]() He’s Orion.”īetty froze, then patted Orion on the head. ![]() Ratchet and Knock Out looked at each other. And I need to take him to a meeting with Bumblebee and Magnus,” he added.īetty came over and started cooing over Orion. Orion just bared his fangs and hissed at him.īoth medics laughed, just as Betty returned. “Hey, thanks for taking a chance on me,” he told Orion. “But right now, he’s back, and he’s a sparkling.” “If… if he’s back, could others return?” he asked tentatively. “I need to… the others need to know,” Ratchet said, still holding Orion, who was starting to squirm. It was entirely non-threatening, but only to them. The sparkling kept glaring, and once again bared his fangs at them. “You’re here, and that’s enough glaring.” The Sparkling reacted to the names, glaring at Knock Out. “Orion Pax? You mean that’s Optimus Prime?” “Identical,” Rachet rasped out, as he handed the sparkling another treat and used that distraction to pick him up. Is it similar to one you’ve seen before?” Ratchet reached down and gentle ran a finger down the sparkling’s helm. Ratchet opened the scan results and froze. It didn’t really work with his mouth full, but it was adorable. The little one kicked out at Knock Out’s hand and tried to growl again. “Spirited, isn’t he,” he commented as he gently ran a hand down the little one’s side. That kept him busy as Ratchet reviewed the information. The Sparkling paused, grabbed it, and stuffed it in his mouth. Ratchet chuckled at him and handed him a sparkling safe goodie. He kept trying to escape as Ratchet scanned him. He growled through all the other examinations, through the handover, and as Ratchet set him on the table. Normally, though not always, the feral ones would be calm by the time their turn came, but this one refused to calm down. Ratchet smiled and they continued to work. “This little one looks like a future rotator flyer.” “Indications that he’s going to have a speedster frame, too. Ratchet gently calmed down the little one he was scanning after the scanner startled him. Ratchet had a bet with Bumblebee on if Knock Out was going to adopt little Wildbreak, or if he’d just mentor her as she got older, after Knock Out spent an entire off day in the crèche playing with her.) Especially after Knock Out didn’t say a word after a feral little femme sparkling three batches ago had scratched him up quite a lot. (Not that Ratchet wasn’t sure that everyone knew what they were doing. Knock Out was the same, and the two of them and Betty had made a pact to never tell a soul. He still wasn’t used to having sparklings around again. Ratchet was distracted by the sparklings he was scanning, helping and, though he’d never tell anyone, cuddling. Ratchet and Knock Out would handle the calmer ones, then Betty would hand over the still-feral little bits while she took the others to the crèche. Most of them were already calming down from the first-framed feral behavior, but the one she was carrying was still struggling and growling at her.īetty directed the others to Ratchet and Knock Out, well used to the routine now. He and Knock Out were frantically trying to get through all of the new sparkling checkups before something went wrong.īetty- the vehicon that Ratchet had taken on as a nurse-apprentice- was leading this group. Ratchet smiled slightly as the next batch of sparklings was brought in. ![]()
